In 13th and 14th of February 2024 took place the Kick-Off Meeting of the Project RESTORY – Recovering Past Stories for the Future: A Synergistic Approach to Textual and Oral Heritage of Small Communities, developed within the Horizon Europe Programme. The event gathered in Cluj-Napoca academics and experts from 12 European countries, representing a research consortium of 20 partners, which will focus on exploring textual and oral stories of small-scaled communities, in order to restore the public’s emotional connection to their discontinued traditions, and to contribute to a sustainable development of the continuously transformative heritage contexts. The project is hosted by the Babes-Bolyai University and coordinated by members affiliated with the Faculty of History and Philosophy, TRANS.SCRIPT Centre and the Institute of Oral History.
